WWE is expected to add more matches to the lineup for the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view event. The company is also likely to add a second Hell in a Cell match after Roman Reigns vs. Rey Mysterio for the WWE Universal Title is no longer taking place inside of the structure at the show as it will go down on tonight’s SmackDown instead.
Fightful Select reports Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn inside the Hell in a Cell was pitched to replace Reigns vs. Mysterio on Sunday, but that was changed by early Friday afternoon.
It is unclear what the plan is as of now for the Owens vs. Zayn match that was pitched for pay-per-view. The only Hell in a Cell match thus far announced is WWE Champion Bobby Lashley vs. Drew McIntyre.
WWE holds the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view event this Sunday from Tampa, Florida at Yuengling Center. Other top matches confirmed for the show include Raw Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley vs. Charlotte Flair and SmackDown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair vs. Bayley.
