Chelsea Green was among the ten wrestlers to be released by WWE on Thursday due to budget cuts.

Green did an interview with Fightful where she shared some interesting plans that the company had for her last year. It turns out WWE creative had plans to put Green, Vanessa Borne and Santana Garrett in a faction where they would portray a "Pussycat Dolls meets Charlie's Angels" group.

The wrestlers did meet with the writers about the idea, but it didn't end up happening.

Borne had been called up to the WWE main roster in early 2020, but still hasn't been used yet while Garrett was called up in Summer 2020, and has only appeared at the Royal Rumble.

Green had been sidelined since last November as she suffered a wrist injury that resulted in her undergoing surgery.

Green signed a new three-year deal with the company while out of action, but the company decided to part ways with her. Her non-compete clause expires this July.
