WWE NXT 7/27 ratings set a new 2021 low for first episode on Syfy

The live viewership numbers for WWE NXT are in and saw a big drop.

NXT drew 520,000 live viewers, which is down from the 709,000 viewers the show previously drew a week ago on the USA Network, according to PWTorch. This set an all-new 2021 low, which was previously held by the January 13th episode with 551,000 viewers.

It did a 0.12 rating for the 18-49 demographic. The show did a 0.20 rating one week ago. This also ties the lowest 18-49 demo number of the year with the February 10th edition.

This week’s show went up against NBC’s coverage of the Olympics, which impacted all television shows. The ratings were also expected to drop as the show was moved from the USA Network to Syfy. The past two weeks had increased ratings.

The episode featured Adam Cole vs. Bronson Reed, Pete Dunne & Oney Lorcan vs. Tommaso Ciampa & Timothy Thatcher, Carmelo Hayes vs. Josh Briggs, and more.
