NXT Tag Team Champions Nathan Frazer & Axiom vs. The OC (Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson) was booked at this year’s WWE NXT Battleground Premium Live Event. The following is the play-by-play coverage of the match:
After an initial hot start by the champions, the heels took over. Anderson hit a TKO to Fraser then Gallows with a splash in the corner. The heels with a combination neck breaker for a close two fall. Gallows with a sitdown powerbomb for 2 on Nathan. Axiom was tossed to the floor by Anderson. Anderson caught Axiom with a spinebuster before tagging in the big man and they went for magic killer, but Fazer broke it up. The heels with magic killer but Fazer broke up the pin attempt. Gallows with a chokeslam to Fazer on the apron. Anderson with a cutter off the top rope for 2 on Axiom. Axiom with a splash fly off the top rope then Fazer with the phoenix splash on Anderson for the win.
Winners: Nathan Frazer & Axiom
