WWE NXT Halloween Havoc Results: Trick Williams Retains NXT Title, Bully Ray Makes Post-Match Save

WWE NXT Champion Trick Williams vs. Ethan Page in a Devil’s Playground match was booked at this year’s WWE NXT Halloween Havoc 2024 Premium Live Event from Hershey, PA at the GIANT Center. The following is the play-by-play coverage of the match: 

Page jumped him from the get go before they had a steel chair exchange with Trick getting the better of him. They brawled into the ring. Page hit him in the back with a trash can. Back at ringside, Page planted him on a steel chair. Page with a side walk slam to Trick through a chair for 2. Page went for his finisher, but Trick avoided it and hit Trick Shot for 2. Page poured out nuts and bolts before Trick hit the jumping neckbreaker for 2. Page with his finisher through the announce table. Trick was bleeding from his mouth and the medical staff checked on him. Trick continued anyways as part of the storyline. Back in the ring, Page suplexed him on the steel steps. Truck grabbed steps and Page kicked him low. Page went to hit him with the steps, and Trick hit him with a low blow. Trick with the running knee for the win. 

Winner: Trick Williams

Post-match, Ridge Holland attacked Trick from behind and laid him out with a DDT. Bully Ray came down to make the save.
