NXT Tag Team Champions Nathan Frazer & Axiom vs. Chase U (Andre Chase & Duke Hudson) was booked at this year’s WWE NXT Heatwave Premium Live Event. The following is the play-by-play coverage of the match:
Chase U brought the fight to the champions and beat Frazier in the corner. Axiom caught Andre with a clothesline to the back of the head then Nathan kicked Andre in the face before Andre hit a german suplex followed by a double superkicks for 2. Nathan and Axiom hit several outside dives in front of the announce table. Axiom with a frog splash back in the ring to Duke than Nathan with a springboard 450 to Duke for 2. Axiom with a spanish fly off the top rope to Duke then Nathan hit a 450 splash for 2 right before Andre hit a canadian destroyer to Axiom after breaking up the pin attempt. Nathan accidentally superkicked Axiom before Axiom was rolled up by Andre for 2. Andre with a russian leg sweep to Axiom then put the boots to him and hit a crossbody off the top rope for 2 as Nathan broke things up. Axiom with a superkick to Andre for the win.
Winner: Nathan Frazer & Axiom
