Welcome to our live coverage of WWE NXT, announced for tonight’s show, Zoey Stark will kick off NXT to address Toxic Attraction, Apollo Crews will take on Xyon Quinn, Diamond Mine will take on Tony D’Angelo’s “family”, and Wes Lee will take on Grayson Waller.
– NXT starts off with Zoey Stark, Zoey says that it feels good to be back in this ring, Zoey says that she tore her ACL straight off the bone, Zoey says that she came back four months ahead of schedule, Cora Jade then interrupts, Cora says that Zoey ruined her moment, Zoey calls Cora a piece of trash, Toxic Attraction then interrupts, Mandy says that she’s the longest reigning NXT women’s champion, Gigi says that she will fight Zoey tonight.
Match 1: Wes Lee vs Grayson Waller
– The match starts off with both men locking up, Waller then lands an armdrag on Lee, Lee then lands a roll through for a two count, Lee then lands three armdrags on Waller, Waller then lands a big boot to the stomach of Lee, Lee then hits a tilt-a-whirl headscissors on Waller, Waller then lands a right hand to the face of Lee as we go to commercial break.
*Commercial break*
– We are back from commercial as we see lock in a backbreaker submission, Waller then kicks Lee in the head, Lee then slaps Waller, Lee then hits a bulldog on Waller, Lee then hits a tope suicida onto Waller on the outside, Waller then pushes Lee off of the top rope to the outside, someone in the crowd then punches Lee in the back of the head, Lee then gets back into the ring at the count of nine, Waller then hits the springboard stunner to secure the pinfall victory. The man who hit Lee is revealed to be Trick Williams.
Winner via pinfall: Grayson Waller at 10:56.
Match 2: Apollo Crews vs Xyon Quinn
– The match starts off with Apollo landing a dropkick onto Xyon, Xyon then hits a forearm to the back of Apollo’s head, Xyon then hits a suplex on Apollo, Apollo then lands a sidekick to the face of Xyon, Apollo then hits a closeline on Xyon to secure a nearfall, Apollo then hits a crossbody onto Xyon, Apollo then hits a slam on Xyon to secure the pinfall victory.
Winner via pinfall: Apollo Crews at 5:41.
Match 3: Gigi Dolin vs Zoey Stark
– The match starts off with Zoey landing a series of punches on Gigi, Gigi then lands a side suplex on Zoey, Zoey then lands two closelines onto Gigi, Zoey then hits a GTS onto Gigi to secure the pinfall victory.
Winner via pinfall: Zoey Stark at 2:49.
– After the match, Cora Jade beats down Zoey with a kendo stick, Roxanne Perez then returns and chases Cora away.
– JD McDonagh says that he has to apologize to everyone for not introducing himself, JD then puts over the timekeeper, and Wade Barrett, JD then calls out Bron Breakker, Bron then comes out, Bron says that JD has him at Heatwave, JD then headbutts Bron, Bron then headbutts JD.
– Roxanne Perez hands over the NXT women’s tag team championships to Alundra Blayze, Blayze announces that there will beat a fatal four way women’s tag team maych to crown new tag team champions.
Match 4: Giovanni Vinci vs Andre Chase
– The match starts off with Chase taking Vinci down with an armlock, Chase then hits a headlock takeover on Vinci, Chase then lands an armdrag on Vinci, Vinci then breaks the Chase University flag as we go to commercial break.
*Commercial break*
– We are back from commercial as we see Vinci lock Chase in a bearhug, Cnase then hits a side suplex on Vinci, Chase then hits a russian leg sweep on Vinci, Chase then hits a side effect on Vinci to secure a nearfall, Vinci then catches Chase in mid-air into a suplex for a nearfall, Vinci then hits a sit-down powerbomb on Chase to secure the pinfall victory.
Winner via pinfall: Giovanni Vinci at 12:27.
– After the match, Vinci attempts to attack Chase but Nathan Frazer makes the save.
Maych 5: Indi Hartwell vs Arianna Grace
– The match starts off with Indi putting Grace in a headlock Grace then throws down Indi for a one count, Grace then sends Indi into the corner with a strong Irishwhip, Grace then rollups Indi as she attempts to use the ropes as an advantage, Indi then hits a big boot on Grace to secure the pinfall victory.
Winner via pinfall: Indi Hartwell at 4:00.
Maych 6: Diamond Mine vs Tony D’Angelo and his “Family”
– The match starts off with Tony and Strong locking up, Julius then throws Stacks across the ring, Brutus then hits a closeline on Tony, all eight men then brawl, Brutus then hits a diving cannonball off the apron onto Tony and his family as we go to commercial break.
*Commercial break*
– We are back from commercial as we see Joaquin lock Brutus in a headlock, Kemp then lands a series of suplexes on Wilde, followed by an elbow drop, The Family then take turns kicking away at Kemp in the corner, Kemp then hits a spear onto Stacks from the apron, Julius then hits a german suplex on Tony, Strong accidentally knees Julius in the face, allowing Tony to pin him.
