In the ring, Becky Lynch said both her and Tiffany Stratton are unable to compete tonight after the match they had at No Mercy. Lyra Valkyria said the first episode of NXT I ever saw was the episode Becky Lynch debuted on back in 2014 I started training that very week. Your debut inspired my career. Now my career has come full circle and I’m wondering how it would feel to go face-to-face with you. Becky Lynch said you are ready. Indi Hartwell came out and told Becky Lynch she’s not the only one to come back to NXT with a point to prove. I won the title at Stand and Deliver only to relinquish it after being drafted and getting injured. I never lost what is on your shoulder. I’m back for something I never lost. Roxanne Perez came out and told Becky Lynch I respect you, but I want my women’s title back, and at Halloween Havoc, I’m taking it. Lynch said you three can have a Triple Threat match tonight and the winner will face me at Night 1 at Halloween Havoc.
Butch & Tyler Bate vs Gallus (Mark Coffey & Wolfgang) (w/ Joe Coffey)
Bate gave Wolfgang an airplane spin. Wolfgang was groggy from that and fell out of the ring. Butch gave Wolfgang a moonsault. Butch and Bate gave Mark a double team power bomb and Bate pinned him. After the match, Joe Coffey and Gallus beat down Butch and Bate. Ridge Holland came down to help Butch and Bate clear the ring.

In the ring, Ilja Dragunov said Carmelo Hayes brought the fight and pushed him to his limits. Trick Williams came out and congratulated Ilja on his victory, but said I’m out here because I also won a championship. Dragunov said he is proud of Williams. Carmelo Hayes came out and told Williams that I am the one who told you that you had the ability to be champion. Winning it is one thing, but defending it is another. Williams said are you saying I’m not ready for Dom tonight? Hayes said that’s not what I mean. Ilja said what do you mean? Ilja left the ring. Dominik showed up and told Williams he should listen to Melo. I promised Mami I would bring home the gold to her and Judgment Day. Melo told Williams you know Dominik isn’t rolling alone. If Judgment Day is going to start something, I have your back and I’ll be in your corner. Dominik told Williams you’re 6’4″ 240 and you’re still in Melo’s shadow? Williams told Hayes I appreciate the offer, but I’m going to decline your offer because I got the title by myself and I’m going to defend it by myself.
Indi Hartwell vs Roxanne Perez vs Lyra Valkyria
Becky Lynch is on commentary. Perez hit Hartwell with Pop Rocks, but Kiana James pulled Perez out of the ring. Lynch kicked James. Valkyria gave Hartwell a splash from the top rope and pinned her.

Backstage, Bron Breakker told Carmelo Hayes that I’m the only one who knows how you feel. You lost and the crowd immediately started chanting for Ilja. No more Melo chants. I can tell it’s bothering you. Use that rage and take it out on everyone, especially Trick Williams. Hayes said leave Trick out of this. Breakker said when you lost Saturday, was he waiting for you in Gorilla waiting to give you a hug and tell you everything is going to be alright? You had to find him because he’s selfish. Think about it.
Backstage, Baron Corbin told Ilja Dragunov that I’ve beaten you and history has a way of repeating itself. ‘
Blair Davenport vs Gigi Dolin
Dolin brought in a steel chair, but the referee stopped her from using it. Davenport grabbed the chair, and while the referee was trying to stop her from using it, Dolin rolled her up for the pin.

Backstage, Kiana James said Roxanne Perez has been the golden child since she came to NXT and I’m not going to let her get another championship. James said if Perez wants a match with me, she will have to go through Asuka next week.
NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament 1st Round
Kelani Jordan vs Izzi Dame
Dame tried to drop Jordan’s back against her leg, but Jordan escaped. Jordan gave Dame a moonsault and pinned her.

Duke Hudson and Andre Chase asked Thea Hail if they could support her for her match and be at ringside. Hail said no, but Jacy Jayne said that might not be a bad idea.
Thea Hail & Jacy Jayne (w/ Andre Chase & Duke Hudson) vs Lola Vice & Elektra Lopez
Vice gave Jayne a spinning back fist and made the tag to Lopez. Jayne punched Lopez in the jaw and made the tag to Hail. Hail got Lopez in the Kimura and Lopez tapped out.
===Winners: Thea Hail and Jacy Jayne
Backstage, Carmelo Hayes was shown leaving the building. He said Williams doesn’t need his help. When he was asked if he is going to take Bron Breakker’s advice, he said no. He said as a matter of fact, I’ve requested a match next week against Breakker. I just got off the phone with somebody who gave me some real advice. He didn’t tell me what I wanted to hear, but he told me what I needed to hear, and that person is John Cena. He is a 16-time champion which means he had to get off the mat 15 times and keep moving forward, and that’s what he told me I need to do. He’s going to be in my corner next week in my match against Bron Breakker.
NXT North American Championship Match:
Trick Williams (Champion) vs Dominik Mysterio (w/ Rhea Ripley)
Damian Priest and Finn Balor came to ringside. Ripley slid her Women’s belt in the ring while the referee was looking the other way. Ripley got on the ring apron. With the referee distracted by Ripley, Dominik gave Williams a DDT on the belt for a two-count. Dominik hit the 619 on Williams, but missed a frog splash. Williams hit Dominik with a running knee. Ripley got on the ring apron again. With the referee distracted by this, JD McDonagh interfered, but got caught by a running knee by Williams. Priest slid the Money in the Bank briefcase in the ring. The referee turned around and saw Dominik with the briefcase. While the referee was trying to get the briefcase from Dominik, Balor hit Williams in the head with his tag team belt. Dominik then gave Williams a frog splash and pinned him.
===Winner and new NXT North American Champion: Dominik Mysterio
In the back, Paul Heyman said because Carmelo Hayes will have John Cena in his corner next week, the same John Cena that keeps getting involved in Bloodline business, which means The Bloodline has to reciprocate. Therefore, Roman Reigns has bestowed upon me the task and privilege of providing wisdom to Bron Breakker in Bron Breakker’s corner next week live on NXT.
