Oba Femi defends the NXT Title against Jasper Troy

Ethan Page defends the NXT North American Championship against Sean Legacy

Our live coverage begins at 8:00 PM

The show opened with Jasper Troy attacking Oba Femi in the parking lot and giving him a chokeslam through the front windshield of a car.

NXT North American Championship Match: Ethan Page (Champion) vs Sean Legacy

Legacy blocked a powerbomb outside the ring from Page, ran him into the ring post, and hit him with a dropkick. Page went for a springboard 450 into the ring and missed. Page then hit Legacy with a cutter and pinned him to retain his championship. Ricky Saints charged the ring and attacked Page and fought him all the way to the back.

Backstage, Jacy Jayne told Ava that because she is NXT Women’s Champion, she needs to tell her about new signees to the NXT roster. Lainey Reid showed up and slapped Jayne. Reid said she is ready for her right now and slapped her again. Jayne told Ava she wants Reid tonight and will put the title on the line.

Shawn Spears told Izzi Dame that he trusts her judgment and asked her to explain why she struck Brooks Jensen with a chair. Dame responded that commitment to The Culling must be a full commitment. She continued by saying Jensen never truly believed in their cause, so they had no reason to believe in him. She pointed out his loss to Hank and Tank as proof of his weakness. Spears thanked her and asked what else she had noticed. Dame hinted that she had her sights set on something.

The Culling (Shawn Spears and Niko Vance) (w/ Izzi Dame) vs Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura

Inamure hit Spears with a couple of running clotheslines. After that, he tagged Briggs who hit him with a big kick to the face. Briggs went to the top rope, but Vance grabbed him and gave him a reverse slam and pinned him.

Backstage, Ava told Ricky Saints that he shouldn’t have attacked Ethan Page because he’s still injured and can’t talk. She then told Saints to go home.

Sarah Schreiber gave us an update that Oba Femi is being attended to in the medical room, but his match against Jasper Troy is still on. 

Kale Dixon and Uriah Connors told Andre Chase that he was right that it was a bad idea to have messed with Dark State. Chase told them if we’re going to do this, they have to do it his way by following his plan. 

A vignette aired of the former Mariah May. They said the Glamour’s name is Blake Monroe.

Lash Legend vs Wren Sinclair

Lash Legend and Wren Sinclair battled outside the ring until Sinclair managed to throw Legend back inside. Seizing the moment, Sinclair launched herself from the top rope in a daring aerial attack, but Legend countered, catching her mid-air and slamming her down hard. With Sinclair stunned, Legend swiftly secured the pinfall victory.

=== Winner: Lash Legend

Lainey Reed said she is ready to be in the NXT Women’s Division. She then showed clips of herself as a rodeo champion and a record breaking track athlete. She once again said  Jacy Jayne is the most beatable champion in NXT history, and tonight she is going to prove it.

Backstage, Jasper Troy said he wasn’t worried about losing his opportunity at the NXT Championship tonight against Oba Femi because he knows Oba is beast and will be out there to defend his championship.

NXT Women’s Championship: Jacy Jayne (Champion) (w/ Fallon Henley and Jazmyn Nyx) vs Lainey Reid

Reid went to the middle rope, but Henley distracted her. This resulted in Jayne knocking Reid off the ropes, hitting her with a hard right hand to the face, and pinning her.

Winner and still champion: Jacy Jayne

After the match, Ava told Jayne there are going to be four singles matches. Those winners will face each other in a Fatal Four Way on June 24. Whoever wins that match face her at Evolution.

Backstage, AJ Francis and KC Navarro confronted Josh Briggs and Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura. Francis said he is going to take over this locker room. Elijah showed up. He told Francis and Navarro that if it wasn’t for them, the TNA title would be back in TNA. 

Charlie Dempsey congratulated Myles Borne on his victory last week. Borne told Dempsey he won’t forget that he shaped him into the man he is today. Je’Von Evans showed up. Heights told Dempsey he is ready to face him. Dempsey told him he isn’t ready yet. Evans then asked why he was holding Heights down. Dempsey told Evans this is none of his business.

Tony D’Angelo and Luca Crusifino vs The High Ryze (Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe) w/ Wes Lee

Stacks showed with a crowbar, but D’Angelo grabbed a hold of him and threw him in the ring. Stacks escaped outside the ring while Crusifino picked up the crowbar. D’Angelo turned around to see Crusifino holding the crowbar and questioned whether he was going to hit him with it. Tyriek hit = D’Angelo from behind which sent him crashing into Crusifino. High Ryze then hit their finisher on D’Angelo and pinned him.

Backstage, Trick Williams said he will be teaming with AJ Francis and KC Navarro against Elijah, Josh Briggs and Yoshiki Inamura

NXT Championship Match: Oba Femi (Champion) vs Jasper Troy

Troy sent Femi crashing into the turnbuckles with such force that the middle rope snapped, requiring a quick fix during the picture-in-picture break.

Once the action resumed, Femi turned the tide by clotheslining Troy over the top rope and driving him into the guardrail. Back in the ring, Femi hit Troy with the Fall from Grace for a near fall. Femi delivered a second Fall from Grace and pinned him to retain his championship.
