Hulk Hogan Tribute
The show opened with a 10-bell salute and video package aired on the life and career of Hulk Hogan.
Jaida Parker vs Jazmyn Nyx (w/Jacy Jayne & Fallon Henley)
Parker set Nyx on the middle turnbuckle and charged at her hitting her in the stomach with her hip. Jaida then hit Nyx with the Hypnotic and pinned her. After the match, Jayne and Henley yelled at Nyx.
Winner: Jaida Parker
Trick Williams and High Ryze jump Je’Von Evans
Trick Williams told Je’Von Evans that he is going to go after Oba Femi’s NXT Championship. Evans told Williams that if you get in my way of the NXT Championship, I will erase you from the equation. High Ryze came out. Wes Lee told Evans that he won’t be able to go after Trick because High Ryze is going to stop him dead in his tracks. Evans punched Lee but High Ryze and Trick jumped him immediately. High Ryze held Evans, allowing Lee to give him the Cardiac Kick. Lee said he’s going to go to Ava to get a match with Evans tonight.
Backstage:
Kale Dixon and Uriah Connors planned on barging into Hank and Tank’s locker room and attacking them with a chair. When they barged in, Hank and Tank saw them and were prepared to fight. They had a standoff with Hank and Tank asking what they were doing. Dixon and Connors said we were going to attack you with chairs to get a title match. Hank and Tank said you don’t need to do that. All you have to do is ask. Hank and Tank said we are going to talk to Ava to get the match made.
Charlie Dempsey vs Tavion Heights
Heights gave Dempsey a double leg suplex and a DVD for a near fall. Dempsey grabbed Heights, but Heights escaped, gave him a suplex and pinned him. As a result of the win, Heights is able to leave the No Quarter Catch Crew. Dempsey and Heights shook hands after the match.
Winner: Tavion Heights
Backstage:
Trick Williams told High Ryze he’s going to be a two-belt holder when he beats Oba Femi. High Ryze told Trick to consider him out of the picture, and if we do this for you, you can set up High Ryze for a shot at the TNA Tag Team titles. Santino Marella walked by and told Trick that Trick doesn’t have any stroke in TNA and his TNA title will be coming home soon.
In the ring:
Blake Monroe told Booker T to get her name right or he will end up in a medical facility like Jordynne Grace. She showed pictures of Jordynne before her weight loss and said that’s not championship material. I have star power. Lola Vice came out and said I have star power because I danced with Nikki Bella at Evolution. Jaida Parker came out and said I don’t need anybody to make me relevant. Kelani Jordan came out and challenged Blake to a match. Blake told Kelani next week I’m going to put you in a medical facility with Jordynne and headbutted her. Blake brawled with Kelani while Vice brawled with Parker. Kelani and Vice cleared the ring of Blake and Parker. Blake clung on to Parker outside the ring and Parker pushed her off.
Backstage:
Tatum Paxley told Izzi Dame she wants to challenge Sol Ruka. Dame said you had a big win last week, but you didn’t pin the champion. In order to get a title match, you have to pin the champion like I did. Niko Vance and Shawn Spears appeared and thanked Paxley for helping them get a big win in Houston. Because of that, we just came from Ava’s office. Because of your big win, you have a North American Championship Match next week against Sol Ruka. Dame looked confused but told Paxley you will have the whole family in your corner next week. As they walked away, Luca Crusifino walked by and said no family lasts forever.
Backstage:
Lash Legend said she is the most dominant woman in all of WWE, especially after eliminating Nikki Bella and Nia Jax in the Battle Royal. Once I’m done with Fallon Henley, I will have a clear path to the NXT Women’s Championship.
Lash Legend vs Fallon Henley (w/Jacy Jayne & Jazmyn Nyx)
Legend punched Henley over the top rope. She then went outside the ring and punched Nyx. Jayne charged at Legend, but Legend ducked and hit her with a kick to the face. Nia Jax showed up and attacked Legend from behind and threw her back into the ring. Henley immediately hit her with the Famouser and pinned her. Jax again attacked Legend and gave her the Annihilator.
Winner: Fallon Henley
Backstage:
Yoshiki Inamura and Josh Briggs argued with Briggs saying he cost him the NXT Championship. Stacks told Inamura that family doesn’t last forever. Loyalty and honor don’t exist, and in the end, everyone gets theirs. Inamura slapped Stacks.
Je’Von Evans vs Wes Lee (w/Tyson Dupont & Tyriek Igwe)
Lee hit Evans with the Cardiac Kick. He went for the cover, but Evans had his foot on the rope. As Lee was arguing with the referee, Evans rolled him up for a near fall. Evans Lee with a cutter and then came off the top rope with another cutter to pin him.
Winner: Je’Von Evans
Pre-tape interview
Myles Borne reviewed his hearing disability. He said he was born with persistent pulmonary hypertension and had to be flown via helicopter at birth. He flat-lined twice on the helicopter and was on a ventilator. When they unplugged it, his heart started working on its own for the very first time. The ventilator had radiation that took 90% of his hearing in both ears. He taught himself how to read lips and didn’t speak until he was four years old.
Backstage:
Robert Stone told Ava and Stevie Turner that he spoke with medical and Ricky has a bruised sternum. He doesn’t have any broken ribs and should be back in no time. Turner said Jordynne Grace will be in a neckbrace for a little bit, but she avoided some serious spine injuries.
Lexis King barged in and asked Ava if she is going to believe this sob story from Myles Borne. He said he’s not deaf and he’s a con man. Ava told King he has a match with Borne next week.
During the break:
Nia Jax said Lash Legend just got her ass dropped earlier tonight and that’s what happens when you think you’re the most dominant force in the WWE. Somebody next week can find out as Lash just doesn’t measure up.
North American Championship: Ethan Page (champion) vs Santino Marella
As Marella was getting ready to hit the Cobra. Page turned around and put the referee in front of him. Page pushed the referee out of the way. He then poked Marella in the eyes, hit the Twisted Grin, and scored the pinfall.
Winner: Ethan Page
Tony D’Angelo was sitting in his restaurant. The waiter came over, handed him a glass of wine, and said, ‘Here you go, Don.’ Tony said things are changing. You don’t need to call me Don anymore. You can just call me Tony D. Tony looked over his shoulder and the lights went out to end the show.
