There’s been talk of transitioning Tino Sabbatelli into an announcing role, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
He’s been having issues since his recent surgery for a torn pectoral muscle and the word on him is that he’s having issues similar to Jason Jordan.
Sabatelli is not cleared and may not be any time soon. At 35 years old, any serious injury is a threat to his in-ring career.
Prior to joining WWE, he played six years in the NFL under his real name Sabatino Piscitelli. He was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the second round and later played for the Cleveland Browns and Kansas City Chiefs.
