WWE NXT star deletes Twitter account after controversial tweets

WWE NXT Superstar Dominik Dijakovic has found himself in some hot that led to him deleting his official Twitter account.

This was after posting controversial comments. For some background, Dijakovic expanded his gimmick at Wednesday’s NXT TV taping by talking about how his family immigrated to the United States. Thus, he made it known that he wants to win the NXT North American Title from The Velveteen Dream. For those who want to read the spoilers from the taping and what took place with him, you can check that out here.

After the taping, he would take to his Twitter account where he posted a message about "purifying" America. He wrote the following:

"This continent has everything backwards. This is a diseased environment that breeds impurity. The streets are almost as filthy as the inhabitants. I would know, I've lived the majority of my life here. I owe it to myself and my family to Purify this wasteland."

The tweet, which saw him tag US President Donald Trump, Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, has since been deleted. This led to him deactivated his entire account. Fans saw the tweet and took a screenshot of it, which you can see it here:

As a result, this gimmick took a negative turn as it was described by some people as being a “white nationalist.”
