WWE NXT star hasn’t made main roster debut despite being called up months ago

It turns out that WWE called up one NXT star to the main roster, but the move has flown under the radar. There’s also more than meets the eye to the call-up.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reports that Vanessa Borne has been called up to the main roster. Per the report, Borne was actually called up as far back as January or February. However, she still has not made her main roster debut. This explains why she has been absent from NXT television.

While Borne has been waiting on her debut, she hasn’t been brought in for television events regularly since then.

“Borne’s situation was compared to that of Riddick Moss, who had a deal coming up, and then was promoted to the main roster upon re-signing.”

Of course, Borne was called up and left to wait while WWE deals with various challenges. WWE has had to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic since March that has resulted in WWE holding all events from the Performance Center in front of no real fans.

There was also a creative shift in WWE as Vince McMahon decided to change direction on Raw by removing Paul Heyman as the Executive Director and replaced by SmackDown Executive Director Bruce Prichard.

It was added that there’s no word yet on her status as of now or where she was to land.
