WWE NXT star is returning to the ring for the first time in almost two years

The last time fans saw Tino Sabbatelli was in 2018. He hasn’t been seen on WWE NXT live events since a house show in Largo, Florida when he lost to Velveteen Dream. The date was April 4, 2018 and almost two years later it looks like he’s ready to get back in action. He suffered a torn pectoral muscle that was expected to keep him out for several months. It’s not clear if the injury is what kept him out for so long or if there were other reasons.

As seen in the video below, he will be making his return on Friday night at the live event in Tampa.

Sabbatelli said Tampa is the place that changed his life 13 years ago and he is eager to get something off his chest. The tweet below does not necessarily say that he will be wrestling and it sounds like he will be cutting a promo.

Sabbatelli is a former Tampa Bay Buccaneer and he planed for six seasons in the NFL. For much of his run in NXT, he teamed with current WWE Raw star Riddick Moss.
