WWE has announced that Dexter Lumis could be out of NXT TakeOver: XXX because of an injury.
Last week, WWE noted in their injury report that Lumis suffered an osteochondral lesion to the talus during the Triple Threat Match with Finn Balor and Timothy Thatcher. Lumis won the match to earn a spot in the North American Championship Triple Threat Match at TakeOver: XXX.
WWE says Lumis’ ankle injury has raised questions about his status for TakeOver. While not confirmed, it looks like he may be pulled from the show.
WWE says they will have updates on The Bump tomorrow morning ahead of tomorrow night’s episode of NXT on the USA Network.
Lumis was getting a good push and is liked by management so it’s unfortunate for him to be injured right now.

Bronson Reed vs. Dexter Lumis vs. TBD vs. TBD vs. TBD
