WWE NXT Star Is Moving Up To The Main Roster

NXT standout and former TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace appeared backstage on tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, where she was formally courted by General Manager Nick Aldis.

In the segment, Aldis expressed a strong desire to make Grace a central part of his plans for the blue brand as it expands to a three-hour format. While Grace acknowledged the offer, stating that Aldis had given her “a lot to consider,” she stopped short of committing to SmackDown immediately.

The conversation was interrupted by Chelsea Green, accompanied by Alba Fyre. Green’s intrusion appeared to agitate Grace, who remarked after the interaction that “some people are gonna make this decision a lot easier,” implying that a potential rivalry with Green could motivate her choice of brand.

Free Agency Status

While Aldis has made his pitch, it is expected that Grace will also appear on Monday Night Raw before finalizing her decision. WWE frequently utilizes this “free agent” courting narrative for high-profile call-ups to build anticipation before a superstar officially signs with a specific brand.

A Decorated Resume

Grace arrives with a significant pedigree from her time in TNA Wrestling and NXT.

  • TNA Success: She is a three-time TNA Knockouts World Champion and became the first woman to win the Digital Media Championship, making her the first Triple Crown winner in the Knockouts division.
  • WWE Crossover: Grace made headlines in January 2024 as the second reigning TNA Knockout to enter the WWE Royal Rumble match.
  • NXT Run: After officially signing with WWE in January 2025, she competed in the 2025 Royal Rumble and featured prominently in the NXT women’s division, including a high-profile feud with Blake Monroe that concluded in a Weaponized Steel Cage match at No Mercy in September 2025.
