WWE NXT star walks out after disagreement with the company

WWE NXT star Taynara Conti had a disagreement with WWE in the middle of January and walked out as a result, according to a report published by Fightful.

The media outlet was contracted by members of Brazilian media to ask about her status with the company once she removed several WWE mentions from her social media accounts.

Per the report, people at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida believe that it’s financially motivated, but that hasn’t been confirmed yet. It was noted that her locker was cleared out.

Her husband contacted MMA writer Matheus Costa to say about the situation, “All we can say is that Taynara is still under contract with WWE.”

Company sources have told us at WrestlingNews.co that wrestlers have not received pay raises despite WWE portraying NXT as part of the main roster since the move to the USA Network. So, Conti would not be the only wrestler unhappy with their pay.

Conti signed with the company in 2016 after she participated in trials for the Brazilian Olympic team at the 2016 Summer Olympics. She made her in-ring debut in 2017 during WrestleMania Axxess.

Conti qualified for the 2018 Mae Young Classic tournament after she defeated Vanessa Borne but was eliminated in the first round.
