WWE NXT star was being considered for full-time move to Raw or SmackDown

Chelsea Green made her official WWE NXT debut this week as a full-time character with Robert Stone (the former Robbie E from Impact Wrestling) as her manager.

Green attacked Mia Yim and Kayden Carter and then Stone declared that 2020 would be the year of The Robert Stone Brand.

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that there were plans for Green to start full-time on the main roster. Green and Deonna Purrazzo appeared in matches a couple of weeks ago on Monday Night Raw but they were portrayed as enhancement talent. Apparently, they were being considered for a bigger role.

Here is what Meltzer said about Green on WOR: “When Chelsea Green and Deonna Purrazzo did those matches on Raw, the idea was to look at them and that they may get brought up. The key was that they could get brought up because they were not on NXT television. Once they get put on NXT television then they’re off limits for a long time. Then it’s got to be one of those things where they work everything out.”

Basically, now that Green is full-time on NXT TV, she is unlikely to appear as a member of Raw or SmackDown in the near future. On one hand, it’s good since she will likely get a push in NXT but wrestlers in NXT do not get paid as much as wrestlers on Raw and SmackDown.

Here is a clip from her debut last night on WWE NXT.
