Rhea Ripley put up her NXT Women’s Championship against Bianca Belair at WWE NXT TakeOver: Portland. As noted earlier, Charlotte Flair had yet to say if she would challenge Ripley at WrestleMania in Tampa.
The match was pretty good and there was one scary spot where Ripley landed awkwardly over the top rope and to the floor. Ripley won the match with the Rip Tide to successfully defend her title.
Charlotte said, “I thought about it and I’ll see you at WrestleMania.”
Charlotte then left the ring and drove Belair into the steel steps. So, it’s official…Charlotte Flair will challenge for the NXT Championship at WrestleMania.
