The WWE NXT roster has made it to Houston, Texas for tonight’s CW Network broadcast despite a severe travel day caused by storms and tornadoes across the Southeast.
According to PWInsider.com, virtually everyone expected to be in Houston for the taping has arrived. “Just about everyone one would expect to be in town for the taping are indeed in Houston,” PWInsider reported. “It was an extremely rough travel day, but the crew made it to Texas.”
The travel chaos began Monday when thunderstorms and tornadoes across the Southeast triggered a ground stoppage at Orlando International Airport, where much of the NXT roster was attempting to fly out. Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer reported that flights out of Orlando were delayed by more than four hours, with WWE monitoring the situation closely.
“NXT talent apparently stuck at the Orlando airport which is currently at a ground stoppage with flights delayed so far above four hours,” Alvarez wrote. “NXT is in Houston tomorrow and WWE is monitoring the situation in case they can’t get out of Orlando.”
NXT has three television episodes remaining before Stand and Deliver 2026 takes place in St. Louis, Missouri on April 4. Tonight’s NXT airs live from 713 Music Hall in Houston on the CW Network and features a card headlined by a triple threat NXT Women’s Championship match with Jacy Jayne defending against Sol Ruca and Zaria, and a steel cage match with Women’s North American Champion Tatum Paxley defending against Izzi Dame.
