WWE taped more episodes of NXT. These are the final shows leading up to NXT Takeover: Brooklyn 4.
Here is what happened, thanks to Jacob Cohen for the results:
UFC’s Cain Velasquez was in attendance
– Jeet Rama defeated Chase Adams
– Adam Cole defeated Sean Maluta. After the match, Cole said that he is the most buzzworthy Superstar. Ricochet interrupted him and challenged him to a match. Cole declined. Roderick Strong and Kyle O’Reilly walked out but The War Raiders evened the odds. Undisputed Era tried to sneak away but they were attacked by Moustache Mountain.
– Lacey Evans defeated Tenilla Price
– Heavy Machinery defeated The Mighty. Street Profits threw cups into the crowd during this match
– Moustache Mountain defeated State Line

– EC3 defeated Kona Reeves despite Velveteen Dream’s attempts to distract EC3
– Shayna Baszler defeated Candice LeRae. Baszler attacked LeRae after the match but Kairi Sane made the save. Baszler blindsided Sane and then ran off.
– Tommaso Ciampa defeated Aleister Black to become the NXT World Champion. Johnny Gargano ran in towards the end of the match after the referee was knocked out. Ciampa ended up getting the best of Gargano and then he went on to defeat Black to become the champion. It looks like we will be getting Gargano vs. Ciampa one last time at Takeover: Brooklyn 4. – Nikki Cross defeated Amber Nova.
–Â Richochet walked out for his match but was attacked by The Undisputed Era. Adam Cole said that is not a coward. He said that because that is what Ricochet said to him earlier.
– Kassius Ohno defeated Adrian Jaoude

– Taynara Conti defeated Vanessa Bourne to qualify for the Mae Young Classic
– Street Profits defeated The Mighty
– Ciampa walked out to the ring and said that he always wins and Gargano loses. Aleister Black walked down the rap but Gargano ran right past him and attacked Ciampa. Black ran in and knocked out Gargano. Black said that Gargano is the reason why Ciampa is the champion.
– Kairi Sane defeated Aliyah
– Tyler Bate defeated Roderick Strong
–Â Velveteen Dream walked to the ring and cut a promo on EC3. It was made official that that Dream will take on EC3 at Takeover: Brooklyn 4.
– Johnny Gargano vs. Aleister Black was thrown out because Ciampa attacked both guys. Note: WWE cameras filmed Cain Velasquez in the crowd during Gargano’s entrance.
– NXT General Manager was back and he announced that it will be Ciampa vs. Gargano vs. Black for the title at Takeover: Brooklyn 4.
