WWE NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool II results: Undisputed Era attacks WALTER-Imperium

WWE NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool II
January 12, 2020
Emperess Ballroom
Blackpool, England

WWE presented the first NXT UK special for 2020 from the Emperess Ballroom in Blackpool, England.

Eddie Dennis vs. Trent Seven
Great opener. Dennis pinned Seven after hitting the Neck Stop Driver in just over 8 minutes.

NXT UK Women’s Championship
Kay Lee Ray (Champion vs. Toni Storm vs. Piper Niven

This was another great match, as you would expect on a TakeOver show. Lots of near falls and high impact moves, including kick outs from finishers. Storm hit a frog splash on Niven in the closing seconds of the match but Storm took a kick to the face and Kay Lee Ray was able to steal the pin to retain her title.

Tyler Bate vs. Jordan Devlin
Excellent match. Devlin looked strong but Bate won with the top rope corkscrew splash. William Regal, Johnny Saint and Triple H were shown watching in the balcony as Bate celebrated.

NXT UK Tag Team Championship – Gallus (Champions) vs. Grizzled Young Veterans vs. Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster vs. Imperium
There was another very good match with a few crazy spots. Gallus retained their titles after Wolfgang speared Aichner through a ladder and then Coffey tipper over a ladder with Marcel Barthel on it.

WWE NXT UK Championship
WALTER (Champion) vs. Joe Coffey
Hard-hitting
match with tons of power moves and chops. WALTER retained with an STF submission.

Imperium joined WALTER in the ring to celebrate but The Undisputed Era showed up and attacked Imperium and left WALTER in the ring. Undisputed Era circled WALTER and took him out. They held him while Adam Cole hit the running knee to the back as the show ended. This is the hype for their match at the Worlds Collide pay-per-view during Royal Rumble weekend.
