The WWE NXT UK TakeOver: Dublin was slated to take place on April 26, 2020, from the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland, and air on the WWE Network.
However, last March, WWE postponed it and announced a new date. It was moved to October 25th and then later moved to June 30th of this year.
On Friday, it was noticed the event listing on Ticketmaster and the 3Arena in Dublin noted the event has been canceled.
The reason for this is due to the coronavirus pandemic. It’s likely that when things get back to normal then WWE will return to the market for this show.
The brand went on hiatus for several months in 2020 due to the pandemic, but WWE started taping shows at BT Sports’ studio. While no fans have been allowed to attend, it airs on Peacock in the United States and WWE Network internationally.
