As expected, live crowds are returning to WWE NXT UK, which will be the first time that this has happened since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
WWE announced today that they will welcome back fans starting with the Thursday, October 14 edition of the show. The company has already confirmed this episode will see Ilja Dragunov defend his NXT United Kingdom Championship against A-Kid.
WWE holds TV tapings this Wednesday and Thursday with “a limited number of guests” being invited to attend. It should be noted that tickets are not being sold for the tapings.
In order to attend, fans will have to show proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test. Masks are also required for attendees.
Since the brand returned to taping new content, they’ve held the tapings at London’s BT Sport Studio. The final tapings to have fans in attendance before the pandemic started were held in Coventry in March 2020.
Dragunov won the NXT UK Title when he beat WALTER for it at NXT TakeOver 36.
