News about WWE’s return to Madison Square Garden got out a few months ago but the company officially announced the news today.
As seen in the video below on WWE’s YouTube channel, the company will be running Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live on consecutive nights on September 9 and 10. Coincidentally, these shows will take place just a few days before Lucha Libre AAA debuts in the venue on September 15. New Japan Pro Wrestling will run a show at the Hammerstein Ballroom on September 28.
This would be WWE’s first MSG show since December 2018 and it would be their first time running a TV taping in that arena since November 2009.
