In recent months, the crossover between WWE and TNA has seen TNA stars appear on NXT television and vice versa.
In August, NXT stars such as Dante Chen, Wolfgang, and Riley Osborne appeared at the TNA tapings. TNA stars like Rosemary, Joe Hendry, and Zachary Wentz have appeared on NXT programming.
At No Mercy on Sunday night, Hendry fell short to NXT Champion Ethan Page in the main event after Page cheated by hitting a low blow to retain the title. Thanks to Trey Miguel’s outside interference, Wentz went over Wes Lee in a grudge match.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that fans should expect “more TNA-NXT crossover and The Rascalz are expected to be part of plans for the next couple of months.” It was said that “NXT officials have been incredibly happy with Wentz’s performances and attitude since returning to the brand after being previously fired.
