Lash Legend has officially joined the SmackDown roster, and early reports indicate that WWE officials are extremely pleased with her trajectory.
Last month, Legend was formally called up to the main roster after making several appearances alongside her Meta-Four stablemate, Jakara Jackson. According to a new report from Bodyslam.net, WWE officials are “very high” on the former WNBA prospect.
“Officials were very happy with her standout performance inside of WarGames and her recent promo segments,” the report states.
Legend’s main roster run began with a high-profile alignment with Nia Jax. She debuted on the November 7 episode of SmackDown, assisting Jax in a victory over Charlotte Flair by attacking Alexa Bliss at ringside. This partnership was strategically designed to accelerate her development.
“Her pairing with Nia Jax is to get her up to speed with main roster talents as quick as possible,” Bodyslam reports. The confidence in Legend extends to her future prospects. The report adds that officials believe she is poised for significant success in the near future. “WWE officials are confident that Legend will have a breakout year as we approach 2026.”
Legend, whose real name is Anriel Howard, signed with WWE in December 2020 after a basketball career that included stints at Texas A&M, Mississippi State, and the WNBA’s Seattle Storm. She made a name for herself in NXT as part of The Meta-Four faction before making the jump to Friday nights.
