Kickoff Show

The announcers noted that Roman Reigns was on his way to the building and he has not yet signed the contract for tonight’s Universal Championship match.

The Riott Squad (Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan) vs. The IIconics (Peyton Royce and Billie Kay)
Before the match, The IIconics said they tried to warn Liv about Ruby’s intentions but they will teach them a lesson tonight. Billie Kay and Ruby started off the match and Liv quickly tagged in after a few seconds. There seemed to be issues between Liv and Ruby on some of the tags, including one when Ruby tagger herself in but Live didn’t seem ready to leave the ring. They did a spot with Liv being knocked off the ring apron and Billie trying to make her think that it was Ruby who knocked her off. Live apparently believed this because she began crying. Liv got through the match and decided to trust that it wasn’t Ruby who knocked her off. The finish was Liv hitting the double knees and Ruby hitting the kick to the head on Billie to win the match.

During a post-match segment, Ruby and Liv said that they are back so apparently, things are fine between them.

Main Show

WWE United States Championship
Apollo Crews (Champion) vs. Bobby Lashley

After a lock up and some back and forth action, Lashley took over on offense after a minute into the match but Apollo surprised Lashley with a dropkick and moonsault to the outside of the ring. Lashley turned things around by picking up Crews on his shoulders and driving him into the ring post.

There was a close near fall when Crews was able to kick out after taking the Dominator. Crews battled back with several offensive moves including a standing moonsault and pin attempt. Crews hit two consecutive suplexes and a frog splash but Lashley kicked out of the pin attempt. Lashley turned things around with a high choke slam and the “Full Lashley” and that was enough to make Crews tap out. Lashley is the new champion. Crews attacked Lashley after the match and vowed to get the title back.

Kayla Braxton tried to get answers from Paul Heyman on Roman Reigns. Reigns has still not signed the contract for tonight’s match.

Backstage, JBL praised Keith Lee. He told him not to feel bad if he loses to Randy Orton because he is one of the greatest ever.

Big E vs. Sheamus

They started out slow in the first few minutes but things slowly began to pick up around 5 minutes into the match. Sheamus worked on Big E’s leg throughout the match. The pace picked up when Big E hit two consecutive belly to belly suplexes and a Uranage slam. Big E tried for the spear through the ropes but Sheamus caught him with a knee to the face and shoulder tackle over the top rope. Big E caught him with a belly to belly but Sheamus fought back with an Alabama Slam into a near fall. Moments later, Big E was able to connect with the spear through the ropes.

Big E won the match with the Big Ending so his singles push continues. Big E yelled, “This is just the beginning!”

New backstage interviewers Alyse Ashton interviewed Matt Riddle. He got upset when she related that Corbin said on Twitter that Riddle is a failure at home.

In another segment, Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler didn’t get along but they decided to kill the pre-match chit chat.

Matt Riddle vs. King Corbin

The match was fine, nothing special. Late in the match, Corbin hit the Deep Six but Riddle was able to kick out of the pin attempt. Riddle managed to lock in a triangle submission but Corbin broke free. Riddle then hit the Bro to Sleep and the Floating Bro off the top rope.

The announcers actually put this over as if this was a massive upset for Riddle. Riddle was being interviewed backstage but Corbin attacked him so this feud will continue.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship
Bayley and Sasha Banks (Champions) vs. Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax

There was a point in the match where Jax was knocked off the ring apron and she hurt her knee when she landed. This gave Bayley and Banks the opportunity to double team Baszler. Jax got back into the match while favoring her knee. She grabbed Banks and rag-dolled her into the barricade at ringside. Jax then tagged in to take on Bayley.

When Baszler tagged in, she hit a flurry of offense including several knees to the face on both Bayley and Banks. Bayley and Banks were able to turn things around. Bayley hit an elbow off the top and Banks followed up with a frog splash but Jax kicked out of the pin attempt. Bayley also hit a sliding knee on Jax but Jax kicked out. Baszler tagged in but Bayley and Banks didn’t see it so Baszler was able to get in some offense. Baszler had a leg lock on Banks and Kirafuta Clutch on Bayley at the same time. Baszler used Banks arm to choke out Bayley. Bayley tapped out.

Charly Caruso interviewed the champions after the match, Nia Jax just wanted to celebrate. Bayley and Banks were still at ringside with sad looks on their face.

Keith Lee vs. Randy Orton

Lee got the first offense in on Orton with a crossbody as Orton was coming off the ring ropes. Orton was angry and yelled at Lee and then hit some hard chops to the chest but Lee got angry and hit a double chop to the chest of Orton and punches to the body but Orton fought back by shoving Lee’s left shoulder into the ring post as Lee was charging at Orton in the corner. Orton also picked up and dropped Lee on the announcer’s table.

Dominik and Rollins wrestled for the first couple of minutes with Dominik looking impressive and frustrating Rollins. Dominik also looked great when Murhpy tagged in. Rey tagged in and hit a running low dropkick into a near fall.

It was Rollins and Rey for a couple of minutes until Murphy tagged in. There was a spot where Rollins tossed Rey across the ring and Rey landed on the knees of Murphy, who was lying on his back at ringside. Rey was able to eventually tag out and Rollins and Murphy took turns beating on Dominik.

After several minutes, Dominik was able to make the hot tag to his dad and Rey hit a flurry of offense on Rollins. Things got really good as all four men were hitting rapid moves on each other. Towards the end of the match, Rey took out Murphy at ringside with a tope suicide dive. Rey went for a move off the top on Rollins but Rollins got his knees up and then hit a superkick and almost pinned Rey. Seth also hit a wheelbarrow slam into a near fall that Rey kicked out of. Rollins and Murphy took out Dominik by throwing him into the barricade. They followed up by doing the same thing to Rey. Rollins did a running powerbomb and Murphy was supposed to kick Rey in the head but he accidentally kicked Rollins in the head. This allowed Rominik to hit the 619 on Murphy and the frog splash.
