WWE Planned For Months To Use Stipulation For Bad Blood Match

WWE is reintroducing the shark cage stipulation for a match at the upcoming Bad Blood premium live event. This rule will be in effect for the Women’s World Championship match between Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley.

The announcement was made on Monday’s episode of Raw as a way to stop Dominik Mysterio from getting involved in the bout. Morgan accidentally injured Ripley in a backstage segment, causing Ripley to vacate the title.

At SummerSlam, Ripley took over Morgan after interference from Mysterio, with the championship on the line. This officially aligned Morgan and Mysterio.

PWInsider.com reports they were told Mysterio in the shark cage stipulation has been planned for Bad Blood for several months and is is not a late addition to the match’s plans.
