WWE planning to tape upcoming shows this week

The situation of WWE airing future episodes of its weekly television shows is a fluid one as there have been mixed reports regarding the plans of the company.

On Monday, WrestleVotes reported that the 4/10 episode of SmackDown and the 4/13 episode of Raw will air live from the Performance Center. For more on that, click here.

Now, Fightful Select reports that the company is planning to tape more content at the end of this week. As of Monday night, WWE told many stars that they plan to mass tape several upcoming shows.

The tentative plan is to film three episodes of Raw and SmackDown, and multiple episodes of NXT starting this Friday through next Thursday. These tapings that would last WWE several weeks of TV.

The media outlet has also heard of the idea that some episodes could be live but isn't a certainty. Due to the uncertainty that comes along with the coronavirus, these plans are hardly a guarantee.

As noted, Monday’s Raw episode and Wednesday’s edition of NXT were already taped. The next episode that WWE doesn’t have footage in the can for is Friday’s SmackDown.

It’s been reported that if WWE can’t film at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida due to the statewide lockdown issued by the Florida governor, WWE does have a secret location in place.
