WWE Plans To Launch Another Vault Channel On YouTube

Building on the success of their WWE Vault and WCW Vault channels on YouTube, which offer a treasure trove of full matches, pay-per-view events, and previously unseen footage, WWE is set to broaden its digital footprint with the launch of another dedicated channel.

A recent feature article published on The Verge confirmed the upcoming arrival of an ECW Vault channel. According to The Verge:

“Encouraged by Vault’s success, WWE has recently launched a dedicated channel for WCW, the wrestling promotion that it famously spent decades competing against and eventually acquired. Soon there will be another for ECW and its extremely brutal events.”

WWE Digital team leader Steve Braband elaborated on the strategy behind these specialized channels, stating, “It’s a clear destination telling fans where to go. The current product on our main channel seemed to be outpacing a lot of what we were doing from a historical perspective.” He further explained the rationale, adding, “So a few of us sat around and said, ‘our historical content still means a lot to us on YouTube.’”

It is unknown when the channel will officially launch.
