WWE Preparing For Arrival Of Rey Fenix

Now that Rey Fenix has been released from AEW, all signs point to him going to WWE and joining PENTA in the promotion, something they had planned to do before injury time was added to Fenix’s deal.

Fenix had been waiting for his deal to expire because AEW opted to add time to it due to missed time due to injury. Penta has been pushed as a rising star since making his WWE debut.

Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp noted that when he asked about Fenix’s status with WWE, they said that he’s expected to get WWE medicals done very soon. It was added that merchandise has been brainstormed for him, and if he wasn’t already signed, it’s coming soon.
