WWE producer who tested positive for COVID-19 issues statement on fighting the virus

WWE Producer Adam Pearce announced last month that he had tested positive for COVID-19. A few weeks later, it appears that Pearce has rebounded from the virus.

Pearce took to his official Twitter account today where he issued a statement on battling the virus. He captioned the post with, “Don’t know who needs this today, but I know I have along the way.”

He also shared a video a few days ago of himself sending a reminder to people to wear masks. Pearce issued the following statement:

“To everyone out there fighting COVID-19:

You’re not alone. I know it feels like it. I know it’s quiet and I know it’s smothering. I know the depression and I know the struggle. There’s a light at the end of that lonely tunnel. Keep seeing it. When you get there everyone you love will be there waiting arms-wide-open. You’re not alone.”

Renee Young and Kayla Braxton joined Pearce in coming out publicly to confirm that they had tested positive for the virus.

Since then, WWE reportedly told talent and staff to not announce on social media that they had the virus.

The belief is that there are more infections from within WWE as there could be as many as in the “two dozen range,” but that has not been confirmed. This includes talent, production workers, and other employees.
