WWE Pulls Star From Active Roster

The status of one WWE star is in question after the company pulled them from the active roster.

That star is Kiana James. After signing with WWE in 2022, James began making appearances on TV and became a former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion.

James was called up from NXT to the main roster and placed on Raw following WrestleMania 40 as part of the Draft. However, she’s only made a few appearances on TV since then.

PWInsider.com reports that James has been pulled from WWE’s active roster after not competing since June. Instead, she has been moved to WWE’s “misc” roster internally.

This is usually where WWE puts talent who are not able to perform, whether that be due to injury or, in the case of someone like The Undertaker, who is rarely used. It’s unclear why she was moved from the active roster.

Her last match was on a June episode of WWE Raw, where she worked a Money in the Bank Qualifying match with Zelina Vega and IYO SKY.
