WWE pulls Tyson Kidd from Total Divas

Total Divas fans will notice that Tyson Kidd (TJ Wilson) is not involved in the new season. Apparently, WWE made the decision to pull him from the show and it looks like his injury situation might have something to do with it. Kidd wrote about it on twitter when fans asked him about his absence from the show. Kidd wrote, “I’ve been taken off the show by WWE – you’ll have to contact them to figure it out. You won’t see me once this season. It’s all good.”

A fan wrote to him and said that she would have loved to see his injury situation explained on the show. Kidd replied, “Oh believe me, I don’t think they want my situation explained. I’ll leave it at that for now.”

Kidd was seriously injured last year in a Raw dark match against Samoa Joe after taking Joe’s muscle buster. He ended up getting C1-C2 spinal fusion surgery and doctors said that there was a 95 percent chance of death. He is lucky to be alive and he defied the odds because he is also lucky to not be paralyzed. Bret Hart has said publicly that Kidd and Joe were rushed out to do a quick match without time to warm up. Kidd remains under contract with the company but it’s very likely that his in-ring career is over.
