This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw drew 2.15 million viewers. That is a 3 percent drop from last week’s show.
Raw was up against the New York Giants vs. Philadelphia Eagles game that drew 11.36 million viewers for what could have been Eli Manning’s last game. The viewership for this week’s Monday Night Football game dropped 19 percent from last week so there is no reason why the Raw number dropped this week, other than fans were not interested in what was being offered to them.
The good news for WWE is their viewership did not drop as much from the first to the third hour as most weeks.
This week’s show featured Seth Rollins aligning with AOP and Rey Mysterio vs. AJ Styles in the main event. Viewership should go up next month since Monday Night Football will not be competing with WWE after December 23rd.
Here is the hourly viewership breakdown for this week’s show:
Hour 1 – 2.26 million viewers
Hour 2 – 2.20 million viewers
Hour 3 – 2.00 million viewers
