Bobby Roode and Chad Gable have been put on the backburner in recent months. They didn’t have their own match at WrestleMania and instead, they were simply put in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal with the rest of the unused members of the roster.
On Monday Night Raw after WrestleMania, Roode and Gable were looking to take matters into their own hands to get back on track. They lost the match but they made a statement with a post-match attack when Roode clobbered Ricochet on the back of his head.
Back in January, WWE told wrestlers that more emphasis would be put on tag team wrestling so hopefully, this is the start of them delivering on that promise.
