As noted earlier, Cedric Alexander helped The Hurt Business when he turned on tag team partners Ricochet and Apollo Crews. There was no confirmation Alexander had actually joined the group but that was the impression that was given.
Later in the show, Alexander joined The Hurt Business in the MVP Lounge to talk about his actions from earlier in the show.
MVP introduced Alexander as the newest member of The Hurt Business and he was given a shirt to make things official. Alexander said he was going broke when he was teaming up with Crews and Ricochet and he didn’t want to sacrifice his body and career for someone else’s championship opportunity.
Alexander’s promo was cut off by The Viking Raiders, Crews and Ricochet, who ran out to the ring to brawl with The Hurt Business. This led to an eight-man tag team match.
