WWE Raw ends with heel turn tease, Money In The Bank cash-in attempt
In the main event of WWE Monday Night Raw, WWE Champion Drew McIntyre and Sheamus teamed up to face Money In The Bank winner The Miz and John Morrison.
Earlier in the show, they teased in various segments that Sheamus could be turning on McIntyre and Miz could end up cashing in his briefcase. Sheamus would not play into the speculation from others about a potential turn on his best friend.
Sheamus was taken out of the match and AJ Styles interfered to cause the disqualification. The heels attacked McIntyre after the match and Styles told Miz to cash but McIntyre recovered in time to take out Miz and Morrison.
Styles was carried out of the ring by his bodyguard Omos as the show ended. There was no sign of Sheamus after the match. It’s pretty clear that Sheamus, who recently turned face, will turn on McIntyre soon. Styles will face McIntyre at the next pay-per-view so the Sheamus vs. McIntyre match would likely happen after TLC.
