You may have noticed that Ricochet has been incorporating Chris Jericho’s codebreaker into his matches.
He used the move at WWE Stomping Grounds and followed up with the 630 when he defeated Samoa Joe for the United States Championship.
Based on what Jericho said on his “Talk Is Jericho” podcast, it looks like we may only see the 630 during some matches as Ricochet is starting to feel the wear and tear from performing the move on a nightly basis.
Jericho said last week on his podcast that Ricochet asked him if he could use the codebreaker because it hurts to do the 630 splashes every night. Jericho gave his blessing.
On Monday morning, following Stomping Grounds pay-per-view, Ricochet noted that he woke up tired and with a stiff neck but he would do it all over again because he is the United States Champion.
Check out his tweet below:
I don’t do it for the “⭐️ Ratings.”
I don’t do it for the 💰.
I do it because I love it.
Today I woke up tired. Today I woke up with a stiff neck. Today I woke up with a sore back. But I’d do it all over, it’s all worth it. Because today, I woke up as #UnitedStatesChampion.👑 pic.twitter.com/eEtRjcKrSy
