WWE Raw On Netflix Will Be Treated Like A WrestleMania-level Show

WWE has loaded up the first Raw on Netflix with PLE-quality matches and the hype going into the show feels like the hype you would see for a major show.

Rob Fee, Director of Longterm Creative for WWE, told hosts James A. Janisse and Chelsea Rebecca that they should try to make it out to Raw in Los Angeles. Fee said, “You guys should definitely try to go to that show. It’s going to be um Wrestlemania adjacent.” He added, “You have to go. If there’s one show to go to, it’s this.”

WWE has announced that the first episode of Monday Night Raw on Netflix will feature:

  • John Cena’s farewell tour kickoff: Cena returns to kickoff his yearlong farewell. Cena will be a regular for the entire year of 2025.
  • Solo Sikoa vs. Roman Reigns: Tribal Combat to determine who will be the Tribal Chief, once and for all
  • Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley: For the WWE World Championship currently held by Morgan.
  • CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins: This match was originally scheduled for WrestleMania 40 but with the card changes and Punk’s injury, the match hasn’t happened yet.
  • A performance by Travis Scott: The rapper will perform the new theme song for Raw.

The first episode of Raw on Netflix will air live on January 6, 2025, at 5 pm PT / 8 pm ET from the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, California. It will be available in major markets including the US, Canada, UK, and Latin America.
