Tonight, Monday Night Raw goes live from the París La Défense Arena in Paris, France, with a special Labor Day edition of the show that will feature the fallout from the Clash in Paris premium live event. The broadcast is set to feature a Men’s Intercontinental Championship match, an update on the vacated Women’s World Championship, and the fallout from the ending to the World Heavyweight Championship match. All of the members of The Vision are expected to be in the house, while CM Punk, Jey Uso, and Rhea Ripley are also advertised for the show.
In the first announced match for tonight’s show, Dominik Mysterio is set to defend his Intercontinental Championship against AJ Styles. Styles earned this opportunity by defeating Finn Balor on last week’s episode of Raw, and this will be his second one-on-one shot at Mysterio’s title.
Also on the show, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce has promised to provide an update on the status of the vacated Women’s World Championship. He is expected to name a new opponent for the number one contender, Stephanie Vaquer, and announce a date for their championship match. Naomi recently relinquished the title due to her pregnancy.
The biggest story coming out of the premium live event is the new on-screen alliance between World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins and his wife, the Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch. Lynch’s interference in the main event cost CM Punk the championship.
Tonight’s special international edition of Monday Night Raw will air live from Paris at a special start time of 2 p.m. ET on Netflix.
