WWE Raw Preview: King of the Ring First Round Matches, Nikki Bella Appearance

Tonight’s episode of WWE Raw will be pivotal. The King and Queen of the Ring tournaments continue with two major first-round fatal four-way matches. The winners will advance to the semi-final round, one step closer to a guaranteed championship match.

Sheamus, Bronson Reed, and Rusev will clash in a high-stakes bout in the King of the Ring tournament. Raw General Manager Adam Pearce revealed the mystery fourth competitor for this match over the weekend to be the former World Heavyweight Champion, Jey Uso. Pearce stated he was holding the spot open for the loser of last week’s title match, giving Uso an immediate path to redemption and a potential rematch with GUNTHER if he can win the entire tournament.

The Queen of the Ring tournament will see the highly-anticipated return of Asuka, who has been out of action with an injury since May 2024. She faces a tough challenge in her first-round match against one-half of the Women’s Tag Team Champions, Raquel Rodriguez, the formidable Ivy Nile, and the acclaimed luchadora Stephanie Vaquer.

The show will also feature significant developments in the women’s division. Liv Morgan is set for double duty as she faces Kairi Sane in a singles match and is also scheduled to address the WWE fans regarding her vicious attack on Nikki Bella last week.

Following that attack, Nikki Bella will also make her return to Raw tonight, presumably to respond to Morgan. In addition, Bayley is set to return to continue the rivalry she reignited last week with an attack on Becky Lynch.

A legendary name is expected to return on this show. For more on that, click here.
