This week’s edition of WWE Monday Night Raw saw an expected decrease in viewership from last Monday’s episode.
According to Showbuzz Daily, the episode drew an average of 1.819 million viewers on the USA Network. This is down from the 2.128 million viewers a week ago for Legends Night, which was a high as WWE hadn’t drawn over 2 million viewers for Raw since last August.
WWE also had to go up against the Ohio State vs. Alabama college football championship game on ESPN, which did 18 million viewers.
The 18-49 demos saw hour one had 0.62 then 0.53 in hour two, and 0.51 in hour three. Here is the hourly viewership breakdown:
Hour 1 (8 pm): 2.024 million – last week: 2.197
Hour 2 (9 pm): 1.802 million – last week: 2.150
Hour 3 (10 pm): 1.632 million – last week: 2.036
The episode was supposed to feature WWE Champion Drew McIntyre facing Randy Orton in a non-title match in the main event, but that was nixed once McIntyre tested positive for COVID-19. Instead, WWE had Triple H brawl with Orton as the main event, which only lasted a few minutes.
