This week’s edition of WWE Monday Night Raw saw a slight increase in viewership from last Monday’s episode.
According to Showbuzz Daily, the episode drew an average of 1.892 million viewers on the USA Network. This is up from the 1.819 million viewers a week ago.
This was the post edition of Raw for Sunday’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view event. Historically, Raw, after a PPV show, does get an increase due to intrigue among fans. The interesting part about this week’s ratings is how the third hour didn’t drop like it typically does.
The 18-49 demos saw hour one had 0.61 then 0.57 in hour two, and 0.55 in hour three. Here is the hourly viewership breakdown:
Hour 1 (8 pm): 1.981 million – last week: 1.904
Hour 2 (9 pm): 1.885 million – last week: 1.838
Hour 3 (10 pm): 1.811 million – last week: 1.716
The episode featured Edge vs. Randy Orton in a singles match, which turned out to be the main event. Sheamus also turned heel by attacking his friend and WWE Champion Drew McIntyre in the opening segment. There were also two title matches.
