WWE Raw ratings (8/31/20) decline for post-Payback show after last week’s boost

It has to be noted that last week’s show not only featured the SummerSlam fallout but also was the first live edition in months as well as the first show to be held from the ThunderDome.

The 18-49 demos saw hour one had 0.63 then 0.59 in hour two, and 0.53 in hour three. This was the post-Payback episode of Raw. Here is the hourly viewership breakdown:

Hour 1 (8 pm): 2.104 million – last week: 2.140
Hour 2 (9 pm): 1.882 million – last week: 2.045
Hour 3 (10 pm): 1.703 million – last week: 1.900

Some of the matches featured on the card included a series of singles matches with the winners of those bouts moving onto the main event, which featured Keith Lee, Randy Orton, and Seth Rollins battling it out to determine a #1 contender. As a result of Orton winning the contest, he’ll challenge Drew McIntyre for the WWE Title at Clash of Champions on September 27th.
