Zarian confirmed that the King Of The Ring and Raw Roulette are more than likely to happen this year.
Now that WWE has fans back at shows, Vince McMahon wants to do everything possible to get the ratings back up to where they were before the pandemic.
McMahon’s new edict is that everything must have a story behind it so there will be no more “cold” matches on the television shows. This explains why there was a retirement stipulation on Raw for Jeff Hardy’s match.
As noted earlier, Adam Pearce teased on Twitter that he could be bringing back the King of the Ring tournament.
The Raw Roulette concept started in 2002 and has been done 6 times on Raw. The last time they did a Raw Roulette-themed show was in 2013. The concept is similar to WCW’s “Spin The Wheel, Make The Deal” from the early 90s. Basically, there are stipulations listed on a wheel and those stips are assigned to matches on the show.
Piggy Backing on @WrestleVotes with this:
Raw Roulette and KOTR are more than likely to happen this year.
