Sasha Banks kicked off this week’s WWE Monday Night Raw with an in-ring promo to explain why she’s been away since WrestleMania 35. Banks returned two weeks ago to attack Natalya and Becky Lynch.
Banks said she’s been gone for 4 months out of sight and minding her own business but all she heard was people talking about her.
Banks confirmed that she threw a fit and was seen crying on the locker room floor backstage at WrestleMania 35. “You’re damn right I did,” she said about taking the ball and going home.
Banks said she was relegated to a WrestleMania tag team title match that she cared nothing about while Becky Lynch got to be in the main event against Ronda Rousey.
She also noted that Lynch got a bigger WrestleMania paycheck. Banks said she returned at the right moment with a plan to attack Natalya and, right on cue, Lynch ran out to save the day.
Banks promo was cut off by Natalya running down to the ring and they brawled at ringside.
