The main event of tonight’s episode of WWE Raw featured United States Champion Logan Paul facing LA Knight. The match ended after outside interference involving Paul’s associates, Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker, and the masked man (believed to be Austin Theory).
During the final moments of the match, the referee attempted to eject Reed and Breakker from the ringside area. During this sequence, the masked man entered the ring and attacked Knight. The individual executed a curb stomp on Knight onto the announce desk.
Following the attack, Logan Paul performed a frog splash in the ring to secure the pinfall victory over Knight.
Post-Match Altercation
After the match concluded, Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker entered the ring and attacked Knight. Breakker executed a spear, and Reed performed two consecutive Tsunami Splashes on Knight.
Paul Heyman addressed the audience, discussing the group’s status leading into the one-year anniversary of Raw on Netflix next month.
Bron Breakker then spoke, issuing a challenge to WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk. Breakker referred to Punk’s current persona as a “fraud” and requested a match against the “real” Punk for the January 5 episode of Raw. Breakker stated he would send Punk “to hell” and mentioned Punk’s wife, AJ Lee.
The physical altercation continued backstage. Cameras showed LA Knight attempting to stand. Paul and Reed located Knight and continued the attack.
The segment moved to the parking area, where Knight was thrown into a table and against a vehicle. Bronson Reed climbed to the roof of a car and jumped off, landing on Knight with a Tsunami Splash. General Manager Adam Pearce called for medical assistance as the broadcast ended.
This loss follows Knight’s defeat the previous week against Gunther in the finals of the “Last Time Is Now” tournament on SmackDown. Earlier in the broadcast, Knight stated that things have not been going his way recently.
