WWE Raw Star Gets Their Old Theme Music Back

The October 13th edition of WWE Monday Night Raw featured a blast from the past for long-time fans of Kairi Sane, as the “Pirate Princess” returned to her beloved original entrance theme, “The Next Voyage” by CFO$. The fan-favorite theme, which was used during her popular and successful run in NXT, was a welcome surprise for the WWE Universe, who have long associated the track with her most iconic moments in the company.

The emotional rollercoaster for The Kabuki Warriors began backstage, where Asuka berated and slapped Kairi Sane for their tag team loss to Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky at the Crown Jewel premium live event. Asuka demanded that Sane redeem herself in a one-on-one match against Ripley later in the night. It was for this match that Sane made her entrance to the familiar sounds of “The Next Voyage.”

The match against Rhea Ripley was a hard-fought affair, with both Asuka and Iyo Sky getting involved at ringside. After a series of near falls and outside interference, Ripley was able to secure the victory with a Riptide. The chaos continued after the match, as Ripley attempted to put Asuka through the announce table. Kairi Sane made the save with a kendo stick attack, but Ripley quickly turned the tables, planting Sane with a DDT through the announce desk to end the segment.

The return of “The Next Voyage” is the latest in a series of fan-pleasing music changes that have been happening in WWE. It was recently reported that several superstars, including Sheamus and Drew McIntyre, have been requesting to revert to their older, more popular theme songs. The return of Sane’s CFO$ theme, which is widely considered to be one of the best of the modern era, is a clear sign that WWE is listening to the fans.
